Elizabeth Hilliard is a soprano from Dublin. She brings a dramatic quality and emotional intensity to her performance of solo, chamber and vocal ensemble music. She collaborates regularly with visual artists, poets, dancers and theatre-practitioners to create new work.

Recently, Elizabeth has performed at Walled City Music Festival, Galway International Arts Festival, Béal Festival, Hilltown New Music Festival, Kaleidoscope Night. She features in two tracks on Gráinne Mulvey’s recent release Akanos (Parma).

Highlights of Elizabeth’s 2015-16 season include a collaboration with video-artist Mihai Cucu and composer Gráinne Mulvey, Don’t Walk; premiere performance of The Way We Are (75 minute song cycle) by Derek Ball with pianist David Bremner, song recitals with Association of Irish Composers. Elizabeth is recording her first CD on the Métier Label in April 2016, featuring works for voice and electronics.

Elizabeth is delighted to be a Musician in Residence in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
